MAKTYMKULY FRAGI AND KAZAKH-TURKMEN LITERARY TIES

One of the most prominent figures of the Turkic world is one of the most famous Kazakh poets - Maktymkuly Fragi. His poems are well-known in the Kazakh language by Gali Ormanov, Gafu Kairbekov, Dyuisenbek Kanatbayev, Svetkali Nurzhan translations. In this article, Maktymkuly 's creative work is considered in the context of comparative analysis of common figures in both countries. Indeed, Maktymkuly is not the only person who connects Kazakh and Turkmen literature. There are a lot of examples of common literary heritage of Kazakh and Turkmen people. The ancient Turkic inscriptions belonging to all Turkic peoples as «Korkyt ata kitaby», «Diuani lugat at-turk» dictionary, «Korugly», «Ogyznama» are the works that raise the heritage of the dual folk.
